The Easiest Dietary Approach

Pick the basic food staples combination that you like the most.  Cook separately and then add together placing a couple of tablespoonfuls of apple cider vinegar and a teaspoonful of virgin olive oil on the top as a preservative.  This staple is available at all times when you are hungry and can be added to with flavorings, vegetables, and spices.  Make 80% of your diet non-starchy vegetables and greens, 5% seeds and nuts, 5% fruit, and 5% protein with 80% raw.  Seafood should be consumed 3 times a week and meat used as a condiment or eaten once a week with beef jerky being the best.  Stay off the deadly nightshade foods (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers) while eating yams in place of potatoes and kiwi in place of tomatoes.  Popcorn can be used as a filler using dulse and cayenne mixture as a flavoring agent with a little raw or lightly salted butter.  Watch your body temperature on a regular bases and report results to your health care physician.  Make sure to drink 8 to 10 glasses of purified water daily.  Detoxification programs are available if additional weight lose is wanted.  This is not a fad, this is a life long dietary change you are making to maintain and stay healthy while riding your body of biochemical imbalances.  On this health program you are required to eat whatever you crave at least once a week and no more than twice a week.  All supplements need to be stopped on the weekends.

EFA (Essential Fatty Acid) Diet

You Have to Eat Fat To Lose Fat

Essential means the body cannot live without it.  Replacing the fat that you have accumulated with the proper essential fatty acids (EFA’s) can make a major difference in your health.  Eating the proper EFA’s can help you lose weight, curb cancer, hold off heart disease, and prevent chronic debilitating conditions as well as being a major anti-aging component.  Experts estimate that 80% of Americans consume inadequate quantities of essential fatty acids (EFA’s).  Essential fatty acids (EFA’s) should be responsible for providing 45% of the body’s total energy supply, as well as an immune enhancer, creating mechanical protection along with total body insulation, and lubrication.  Linoleic (omega-6) and linolenic (omega-3) cannot be manufactured by the body and must be provided by dietary sources.  These EFA’s form the hormone like prostaglandin’s that stop inflammation, stops pain, monitors blood clotting and platelet aggregation, regulates immune responses, balances stomach secretions, deters free radicals that promote aging, and normalizes hormones.  By manipulating EFA intake, many major health disorders can be avoided and/or corrected.  Once inside the cell, much depends upon EFA pathway while omega-6’s split into both favorable gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) leading to good prostaglandin’s type-1, and unfavorable arachidonic acid pathway, which is the precursor to prostaglandin’s type-2 (mainly from red meats) associated with increased blood clotting and strokes.  All omega-3’s are favorable and reduce from EPA and DHA to prostaglandin’s type-3, which lowers bad cholesterol, prevents dry skin, thinning hair, constipation, fatigue, aching joints, depression, and cyclic hormone disturbances.

Western Diet Needs Changing

Hydrogenated oils used to produce fast foods and fried foods are very damaging to the cardio-vascular system (heart dz) and a major cause of cancer.  Triglycerides are the circulating fats in the blood stream produced by foods and metabolized by the liver and gallbladder.  Combined with LDL, triglycerides are toxic to arterial walls and accelerate atherosclerosis, a processed reversed by omega-3’s.  Many items in our modern diets prevents or blocks the formation of GLA.  Foods blocking the mediating enzyme, delta-6-desaturase, required for the conversion of linoleic acid (LA) to GLA cause the body to breakdown.  Dietary causes of breakdown include excess of cholesterol, saturated fats (90% in the Western diet), processed vegetable oils, cis to trans configured fatty acids and hydrogenated fats like margarine, heated oils, and excessive alcohol consumption.  GLA deficiencies include aging, alcoholism, immune dysfunction, skin disorders (acne), itching, atopic eczema, dermatitis (like psoriasis), food allergy, PMS, arthritis, stroke, hypertension, fibrocystic breast disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer, and diabetes.  Borage seed oil (preferably with dry natural Vit-E) is considered the most potent and concentrated plant source of GLA.  Grinding your own fresh flax seed oil is best and nature’s richest plant source of omega-3’s, and has 100 times more lignin’s (antiviral/antibacterial/ antifungal compounds).  Other excellent sources of omega-3’s are primrose oil, and grape seed oil.

 

Fishy is Good

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are high potency omega-3 fatty acids derived from cold water deep sea fish such as cod, mackerel, salmon, herring, sardines, and albacore tuna.  Synthesized by aquatic phytoplankton (micro algae) on which ocean fish feed, fish oil supplements are higher in omega-3 than most plant fatty acids. EPA being (18%) and DHA (12%), for a total of 30% concentration.  Omega-3’s impact several biological systems including platelet activation, lipoprotein metabolism, growth regulation, modulation of the inflammatory process, reducing triglycerides, reduced clotting time, prevents cholesterol build-up, reduce coronary disorders, improve cardiovascular problems, stops allergies, Chrohn’s disease, kidney disorders, Raynaud’s phenomenon, ulcerative colitis, Schizophrenia, cardiac arrhythmias, immune dysfunctions, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, bronchial spasms, memory problems, depression, sexual disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, formation of mucus, diminished cerebral circulation, inhibit cancers, and causes tumor reduction.  Omega-3 fatty acids have been used to control weight, treat lupus (SLE), diabetes, nerve function problems, nerve diseases, and dysmenorrhea.  Infant research shows breast milk has a full range of fatty acids, but formulas lack DHA, enough taurine, and other nutrients thus scientists conclude that DHA and other nutrients should be added to infant regimes.

 

Doctor Patient Relationship

Healing Crisis

Natural medicine is based upon the assumption that the body and soul form one complete whole human being.  There is a complete awakening of the whole human body and spirit when you take the path of health.  As the body gets what is wants and starts sloughing off what it does not want you will go through what is referred to as a healing crisis.  There can be multiple healing crises which usually only last a few days, which is a good sign, they can go on for years depending on what has happened to the body.  Signs of needed detoxification would be a low or high normal body temperature (99 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal), an extremely low or high pulse with 65 to 70 being normal, normal saliva and urine pH, and fecal elimination taking place twice a day at approximately the same time each day.

Detoxification

Not allowed to eat any processed foods, starchy vegetables, fruit juices, condiments, sugar, bleached flours, coffee, wine, liquor of any kind, cigarettes, drugs, or any other unnatural stimulants, except what’s listed on Dr. Al’s “EFA Diet”.  To help detox faster one can take a chicory root enemas mixed half and half with coffee and/or clayed water with digestive enzymes 3 or 4 times a day for a week.  The enemas can be done once or twice a day for 3 or 4 days in a row as needed, while on Dr. Aguirre’s “EFA Diet”.  A three to four day fast (purified water only) or mono-diet (peeled apples) will speed the detoxification process, which can be used on a regular bases until the desired health situation is achieved.  Rebuild flora for another week before starting health program.

Normal Healing

Healing is a process. It is a path that bestows great benefit merely by walking upon its soil. Often, we enter this process with the hope of reaching a certain destination, achieving a certain goal, or reaping a certain reward, only to discover that when we arrive, the path continues into the horizon offering greater rewards and larger goals. With this realization, we learn that healing is not about the outcome, but who we become in the process.  As you continue to journey on a clear path to healing, it is very common for different feelings and emotions to arise. Old guilt, anger, and doubt may enter your mind and heart from out of nowhere. Likewise, new fear, anxiety, and sadness may develop if you see no end to the path before you. Although all these feelings are shared by all of us on our healing path, when you are experiencing them yourself, you may feel that you are alone in the process. The world may suddenly seem like a very big place, and that you are the only one on the face of the Earth.  During the healing process, these feelings are normal. Every human being walks the same path and feels the same feelings. If you experience such feelings, know that you are not alone. Recognize these uncomfortable and frightening feelings for what they are -- signs and signals that you are healing and that you are on the right track.  As you heal remember two things: “The only way out is through it,” and ”You have got to feel it, to heal it.”

Don’t Fight It-Time to Rest

The day of a healing crisis is compared to a day of the battle between good and evil.  On a real fighting day, both sides provide the weapons of battle, and the terrible sounds of cries of battle can be heard.  The person feels fear and anxiety, hears voices, temperature rises, lethargy overtakes the body, and rough and abrupt movements can shake the whole body.  On the day of the healing crisis, the person should never take medications and/or be stimulated, for if the medication or stimulant works it will weaken the natural disease repelling force.  Thus, on the day of crisis, avoid herbs that provide diarrhea or vomiting or other stimulation, and avoid as much as possible feeding the person while concentrating on fluids.  A crisis by vomiting, nose bleeding, and/or diarrhea are signs of a complete detoxification going on.  If the crisis is to happen during the day, the signs appear the night before, or vice versa.  Each healing crisis is preceded by its own signs and symptoms.  The correction of disease occurs from top of the body downward and from the inside outward.  Thus, the first sign of the crisis often is headache, coated tongue, and lastly diarrhea.  In the correction of any condition the disease must retrace back through each of the stages it went through in arriving at the advanced condition.  There is no secret way to achieve health without sloughing off accumulated waste.  Otherwise, re-tracing back to health.  Nature does not listen to you, but you must listen to nature, if you want to be healthy.  Love is the greatest power and it is, if natural, the highest “invisible food” from the infinite for soul and body.

Foods During Crisis

When people are sick they need to completely change their diet.  The foods people love best are the exact foods that they have become addicted and/or allergic to thus causing unhealthy biochemicals, which eventually leads to various diseases, suffering, and pre-mature death.  Leaning to be scheduled while changing one’s diet, rotating foods, eating smaller meals more often, proper food mixtures, and decreasing the amount food one consumes are the keys to longevity.  Some of the best foods are calves liver, all organ meats, fertile egg yolks, vegetables raw or slightly steamed, soups and vegetable juices, nutritional yeast, grains & legumes, fermented (high enzymatic) foods, raw seeds & nuts, seaweed powders, fruits by themselves-eat all foods in their entirety as much as possible.  That means eat the whole animal everything the bone marrow, brain, testicles, etc.  The most curative of all foods are the blue-green algae’s especially Chlorella with the cell walls intact, taken with digestive enzymes.  The rule of thumb is to eat only foods that are reproducible, which means that you can germinate or propagate them. Do not let your taste buds dictate what is good for you.  During times of crisis let your brain command and lead the way.

DIET  PROTOCOL

Below are hints on how to choose foods that are natural, balanced and supportive of your optimum health program.  Remember that what you put into your mouth gets transformed either to energy or to build the cells that compose the body.  The higher the quality of starting materials, the finer the quality of the end product, (YOU)!  Practice anti-gravity at least an hour a day and/or use a slant board (18"), which will help the whole body work better by rehydrating the brain and other organs subjected to gravity.   Wear your NaturChem Super Health Magnet as much as possible.  All foods and fluids taken into the body as well as used on the body should be magnetized.

Daily Diet

The daily diet should consist of: six vegetables, two fruits, one complex carbohydrate, and one protein.  The diet should be 40% raw and 60% cooked with 80% alkaline foods and 20% acid foods.  You should have a bowel movement every 12 hours and drink at least 8 glasses of purified polarized water per day.  An Alpine air purification system is a wise investment and should be close to you as much as possible.  Place a unit in your vehicle if you drive a lot.

Overall Diet

     Eat whole grain cereals and breads.  No bleached or "enriched" flour.  All breads need to be toasted for best digestion.

     Cereals: Use unprocessed cereals, such as oats, brown rice, millet, buckwheat, 7 or 9 grain cereals (hot), grapenuts, nutrigrain, etc.

Bread: Whole grain bread made with molasses or honey, Ezekial bread (yeasted, sprouted mixture of various grains, no oils or sweeteners) non-wheat whole grain breads (rye, rice, millet, etc.) are best.  Try to make whole grain pita bread and corn tortillas to use with foods.

Use butter (preferably raw), no margarine (it's full of trans-fats as are all oils, which are harmful to your health).  Cook with it but don't heat it to extremes, best to cook with Coconut oil.

Use raw tahini, almond or cashew butter instead of peanut butter.  Peanuts can be contaminated with a fungal carcinogen (aflatoxin).  Tahini (sesame seed butter) will stabilize your blood sugar and strengthen the immune system.

Use tamari, liquid aminos, or Dr. Bonner's minerals instead of soy sauce, which is full of chemicals.  The best seasonings are natural herbs such as garlic, ginger, cayenne (no black pepper, it's an irritant), and dulse powder (salt substitute).  Kelp can be used but dulse tastes much better and has less contamination.

No Cows Milk (pasteurized, homogenized).  Human breast milk is the finest food on the planet for man, if it is not contaminated.  If you use milk products, make sure it's a cultured such as yogurt, buttermilk, kefir, acidophilus milk, and unprocessed cheese (aged), preferably made from raw milk.  Most yellow and orange cheese contains artificial food coloring (check and read labels).  Natural cheddar cheese is white.

Cut down on red meat (4oz. is a complete meal), best meats are wild game, rabbit, lamb, duck and fish (especially cold water fish).  Rabbit is excellent, low fat and usually organically fed.  Chicken and turkey can be diseased with a cancer virus.  Because chicken parts are fed to cattle, about 40% of cattle now have this virus (progenitor cryptocides).  Dr. Virginia Livingston (San Diego) is developing a vaccine for chickens.  Sheep rarely get cancer (probably) because they live on grass, which contains tumor reducing agents).  Fish is good, especially cold-water fish (cod, mackerel, etc.).  Note: Fish contaminated by mercury can be antagonized with selenium and Vit-C.

Raw seeds and nuts are great sources of essential fatty acids and protein.  They contain more protein pound for pound than meat.  A handful of seeds and nuts will give you oils that will keep your skin in excellent shape and increase your sex hormones.

No commercial eggs.  Use fertilized non-commercial chicken or duck eggs.  Eat two a day, they will normalize your cholesterol and raise your HDL cholesterol, which is what you want.  Low cholesterol less than 150mg% can have a worse outcome than high cholesterol.  Cholesterol is metabolized into hormones.

Use as few canned goods as possible.  The seams contain lead and as little as 10 parts per million can cause heart problems.  Dilute fruit juice 50% with spring, mineral or distilled water.  No processed, pre-cooked or commercial foods.  They are full of preservatives, artificial flavors, colors, and other additives that hypnotize your taste buds and have exceptionally long shelf lives.

No sugar.  Use raw honey (not heat-treated) with all nutrients and enzymes, pure maple sugar (no artificial flavors) or unsulfured molasses for sweeteners use them sparingly.  If you have blood sugar problems, leave all sweets, alcohol, and sugar substitutes alone.

Drink fresh vegetable juice and drink the least amount of fruit juice such as fresh squeezed orange juice or frozen pineapple juice diluted with water or a mineral water.  Buffered Vit C powder should be taken daily in juice. This will energize you and protect your immune system.  Do not drink tap water, mineral or spring water, without prior analysis.  Use bottled spring, mineral, or distilled water.  Tap water should be at least filtered with activated charcoal. No sodas or diet soft drinks.

Oils: Best derived from seeds, nuts, egg yolks, and avocados.  If purchased buy cold-pressed or cold processed oils: Flaxseed oil (linseed) and emulsified cod liver oil are best.  (No corn oil), sunflower, sesame, extra virgin olive oil.  The best oil to cook with is Coconut Oil.  Dale Alexander's emulsified cod liver oil prevents platelet adhesion.  Black currant, primrose, max-EPA, and linseed oil help build up the immune system producing PGE-1.  Trans fats, formed from partially hydrogenated oils, are unhealthy, causing increase risk of heart disease, cancer, and many other health problems.  Avoid foods that have partially hydrogenated oils in them, such as mocha mix, margarine, commercial peanut butter, mayonnaise (simple to make your own), candy bars, (no cooked greasy fatty foods), etc.  When cooking you can use liquid lecithin to prevent sticking and or raw butter.  Do not over heat your foods, cook them just enough to make them palatable.

Eat high fiber foods (raw if possible): Fresh fruits and vegetables (carrots, watercress, parsley), whole grains, etc.  Bran is good especially oat bran and rice bran.  A snack of buttered popcorn contains both fiber and essential fatty acids.

No coffee.  Use Pero, Bravo, Chicory, Postum, Ginseng, Ginger or cold water coffee extracts.  Other roasted grains, tubers, and roots are excellent coffee substitutes.  Even decaffeinated coffee is full of chemicals.  Herbal teas (not tannic acid teas) are excellent.

Allergies

According to Dr. Berger's Immune Power Diet, the following foods account for 85% of allergic food reactions.  In order of frequency they are: Cow's milk products, wheat, brewer's yeast, commercial eggs, corn, soy products and cane sugar.

 

The world's healthiest, most long-lived people have been studied.  Although variations occur, their diets contained:

Carbohydrates and proteins should be consumed separately as much as possible, with melons or citrus consumed an hour away from all foods.

Normal food rotation and combining is of utmost importance.  No food should be consumed more than twice in the same day, nor more than four times in the same week.  Do not store cooked food for more than 3 or 4 days without freezing.

Stop the use of the deadly nightshade foods (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, peppers and tobacco) for at least 3 weeks.  If your health improves especially arthritis, this should indicate to eliminate these from your diet.

80% of the diet should be vegetables.  Raw as possible (if steamed, stainless steel or Pyrex only).  Apples should be peeled before eating and all your vegetables and greens should be washed with a diluted vinegar solution before storage.
