Toxic Poisons - Follow Procedure
Take note that the specialized urinalysis done for trace minerals and toxic poisons screens are indicators for more sophisticated specialized medical lab follow-up testing.
When dealing with toxic metal poisoning keep in mind that
all abnormalities need to be followed-up with very special types of procedures as
follows:
1. Mercury (Hg) levels
Organic- checked in red blood cells
Inorganic- can be checked in the urine
2. Arsenic (As) levels can be checked in the urine
3. Cadmium (Cd) levels can be checked in the blood and/or urine.
4. Lead (Pb) levels can be checked in the blood and/or urine.
5. Copper (Cu) levels can be checked in the serum and/or urine. Zinc (Zn) inhibits copper
absorption.
6. Aluminum (Al) levels can only be checked in the serum with special collection containers.
The amount of stomach acids and citrates favor Aluminum (Al) absorption.
Excess Aluminum Causes the following: (Current 2006
major medical problems):
1. Encephalopathy (stuttering,
gait disturbance, myclonic jerks, seizures, abnormal EEG and coma).
2. Proximal myopathy
3. Increased risk of infections
4. Decreased myocardial
function with increased left ventricular mass
5. Microcytic anemia
6. Can affect bones (low
osteoblast function) with a decreased healing process
7. Can cause kidney disease
8. Impair the formation and
release of Parathyroid hormone (PTH) reduced.

Toxic Metal Procedures
The old way of doing toxic metal screens was collecting 24 hours of urine measuring the volume and sending in an aliquot of the sample, which has now changed. Medical researchers claim the new way is more accurate.
The new procedure is to take a fasting urine sample.
To check for acute poisonings the patient is advised to take the
least amount of liquids for 24 hours prior to the urine collection, which is collected
in a special cleaned sealed container. To check for chronic poisonings
the patient takes a chelating agent such as: EDTA-IV drip or Cardio Flow EDTA that takes the poisons off
binding sites, which can take several treatments before etching to the toxic
element.
Chelating agents are taken for a designated time,
after which the patient follows their physicians outlined procedure for
collection, with IV drips the first sample after Chelation is discarded and the
second urine sample is collected. Samples of both a before (acute) and after
(chronic) toxic metal screen need to be compared for best results. Both acute
and chronic specimens require collecting a mid-stream clean catch urine without
any outside contamination.
The specimens are sent to a licensed medical lab
that specializes in toxic metal screens, with which the new procedures require
a Creatinine Clearance on the specimens sent. Sometimes it takes a few
Chelations to etch out the toxic metals from binding sites, so the toxic
elements might continue to rise before decreasing. hat is the reason for multiple treatments and
tests being done, until satisfactory results are obtained (poisons removed).
These chronic toxic poison tests are not considered emergency and usually take
7 to 10 days to get results.
This is a different type of medical lab than that
used for our normal battery of medical lab tests, which are considered on an
emergency basis with results reported within a couple of days of receiving the
specimens. All of our standard medical lab tests are not done locally they are
flown to
To check for chronic poisonings the
patient is advised to take the least amount of liquids for 24 hours prior to
the urine collection, which is collected in a special cleaned sealed
container. Once the specimen is
collected tighten the lid and tape over the lid before mailing off specimen to
the Toxic Poison Screening medical lab.
Proper Procedure (Take as follows):
Cardio Flow EDTA 1gm (oral chelator) PL # 870- Take 4 capsules every 2 hours for 3 doses and then collect first urine sample after taking the last dose. Fast as much as possible while taking the oral chelator. Discard urine done within an hour of taking the last dose of the Cardio Flow EDTA. Otherwise collect the second specimen to send to the lab.
*Note: Refrigerate specimen until you can get it to the
clinic or mail for analysis.
Patients Procedure:
Mail
specimen priority mail. There is provided one container per person, which is to
be sent directly to the lab after charge card payment. If an overnight delay
before mailing refrigerate specimen and send 2nd day or priority
mail.

Note: No one company has all the
natural supplements that I have learned to use for the past 30 years. So you’ll still have to get a few items
through us. Have your biochemicals checked
regularly (medical lab tests) to make sure what you are doing is correcting
your nutritional abnormalities.
Thanks for your patronage!
Enclosed or attached are the usual supplements that I recommend for my patients. Take as directed on container unless directed otherwise by a professional. Don’t take any supplements on the weekends (intermittent use is best).
